On Friday 29 July, our Year 5 students welcomed their grandparents to the College for our highly anticipated Grandparents’ Day. This much-loved tradition has been on a two-year hiatus due to restrictions, making this celebration even more special.
During Mass, Father Jack spoke of the special place our grandparents have in the family, about their role as child carers and how they teach us important life lessons. Following Mass, our grandparents were treated to morning tea before being escorted by their grandsons to their classrooms.
As always, Grandparents’ Day is another beautiful celebration of community and belonging.
